Intel Corporation has announced the winners of its 2000-2001 Graduate Fellowship competition and Chia-Lin (Charlene) Yang is among them. Charlene is working with Professor Alvin Lebeck on memory hierarchy design for microprocessors. Her research focuses on prefetching schemes for pointer-based applications.
Each year Intel holds its fellowship competition for outstanding graduate students among invited universities. The prestigious and very selective award is targeted to students approaching the completion of their dissertations.
